Where is Villa Karina located?
Villa Karina is a family-run guesthouse in Agia Paraskevi on the south coast of Skiathos, Greece. The sandy beaches of Agia Paraskevi and Kolios are just 150 metres away. Our family has been welcoming guests here since 1981.
How far is Villa Karina from Skiathos Town, the port and the airport?
Skiathos Town and the port are 6.6 km away (about 13 minutes by car). Skiathos Airport is 8.9 km away (about 15 minutes by car). The famous Koukounaries Beach is 5 km away (about 8 minutes by car).
Is there a bus stop nearby?
Yes. Bus stop 15 (Kolios) is a 2-minute walk from Villa Karina. The island bus runs along the main coastal road between Skiathos Town and Koukounaries.
Is there parking at Villa Karina?
There is no private parking on the property, so guests park in the area themselves. A large public parking area is located in front of Agia Paraskevi Beach, a short walk from Villa Karina.
Season, check-in & reception
When is Villa Karina open?
We are open from 15 May until the first week of October. In October, only check-outs are possible, so the last arrivals are at the end of September.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 3 pm and check-out is by 11 am. If you book directly on our website, early check-in and late check-out are free of charge, subject to availability.
What are the reception hours?
Our reception is open daily from 8 am to 10 pm.
Rooms & facilities
What types of rooms do you offer?
We offer five room types: the Deluxe Garden Apartment, the Deluxe Double Room Terrace, the Double Room with Balcony/Terrace, the Comfort Double Room and the One-Bedroom Apartment. Each room has its own balcony or terrace. You can find photos and details on our Rooms page.
Do all rooms have air-conditioning and Wi-Fi?
Yes. All rooms have air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Every room has its own Wi-Fi access point for a fast, stable connection, and Wi-Fi is also available in the garden.
Do the rooms have a kitchen?
Only our apartments have a kitchenette. Our double rooms do not have a kitchen, but they have an electric kettle, and the Double Room with Balcony/Terrace and the Comfort Double Room also have a fridge.
Can I rent a bike?
Yes, mountain bikes are available to rent, so you can explore Skiathos at your own pace.
Families & pets
Do you have baby cots?
Yes, baby cots are available for €5 per night. Please let us know when you book.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Villa Karina.
Breakfast & café
Do you serve breakfast?
Yes. Breakfast is served in our garden café from 8 am to 11 am, with an à la carte menu of freshly prepared dishes, homemade cakes and specialty coffee. Breakfast and coffee are included in our Breakfast & Coffee Package, which is only available when you book directly on our website.
Is the café open to visitors who are not staying at Villa Karina?
Yes, visitors from outside are very welcome. The café is open until 1 pm.
Beach
Do you provide beach umbrellas and towels?
Yes, we lend beach umbrellas to our guests free of charge. Sunbeds can be rented at every beach for a fee. Beach towels are available free of charge. Guests who book our Breakfast & Coffee Package receive premium beach towels to use during their stay and a Villa Karina beach bag to keep.
Booking & cancellation
Why should I book directly with Villa Karina?
When you book on our website you get our best price guaranteed, flexible cancellation, free early check-in and late check-out (subject to availability), easier changes to your booking and access to our Breakfast & Coffee Package, which is not available on other booking sites.
What is your cancellation policy?
For bookings at our standard rate, cancellation is free up to 14 days before arrival and your deposit will be refunded. For cancellations within 14 days of arrival, we keep the deposit. Special offers such as our Early Bird rates are non-refundable. The exact conditions are shown with each rate when you book.
